North Vista Hospital welcomes families and friends to visit with patients at the hospital. We understand that having loved ones nearby can improve healing and help facilitate better care.
Visiting Hours
General Visiting Hours
General visiting hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., seven days a week. Extended visiting hours may be arranged at the discretion of the patient’s physician and the nursing supervisor. Visitors may be asked to leave a patient’s room during tests and treatments.
Intensive Care Unit Visiting Hours
Special visiting hours are in place for patients in the Intensive Care Unit. You may visit the ICU anytime except between the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., seven days a week.
We kindly ask that visitors are limited to two at a time inside ICU patient rooms unless special arrangements have been made with the patient’s nurse. Comfortable waiting areas are provided nearby. When visiting patients in the ICU please follow these guidelines:
- Only immediate family members or significant others are allowed to visit in the ICU
- No flowers or plants are allowed
- Due to increased risk of infection, children under the age of 12 are not allowed to visit
- Please limit visits to 10 -15 minutes
- To protect the privacy of all of our patients, please do not visit in the ICU hallways
- No cell phone use
Women’s Center Visiting Hours
Flexible visiting hours are available in our Women’s Center for families awaiting the birth of a baby.
Visitor Parking
Free parking is located near all of the hospital entrances. Free valet parking is available at the main entrance Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Women’s Center entrance offers a convenient covered pull through area for patient drop off and pick up.
Visitor Waiting Areas
The hospital provides spacious and comfortable lobbies and family waiting areas throughout the facility. Vending machines with a wide range of snack foods are available near family waiting areas.
Dining
Our café is located in the main lobby and is open daily. We offer a wide range of healthy selections for breakfast, lunch and dinner, including daily hot entrees, a salad bar, grill and a variety of desserts.
Breakfast: 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Lunch: 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Dinner: 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Gift Shop
Our gift shop is located near the front entrance on the first floor of the hospital and is open Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The shop is closed on weekends and all major holidays. The gift shop offers an assortment of gifts, flowers, magazines, candy and beverages.
Chapel
The North Vista Hospital Chapel is located near the ICU entrance on the first floor. Patients and their families are welcome to visit the Chapel anytime.
